Noah Kahan addresses criticism over live performance ahead of special show
Noah Kahan responds to harsh comments about his music
Noah Kahan is not staying silent over people bashing his music because it doesn’t appeal to their tastes, but he is not getting rage-baited.
The 28-year-old singer took to Instagram on Thursday, November 20, and reacted to people labeling his shows “snooze fest” because of the sound of his music, which is not necessarily ‘party music.’
The Everywhere, Everything hitmaker wrote on his Stories, "When people call my music a snooze fest I take it as a compliment because to me going to an actual snoozing festival sounds fun and restful," alongside a snap of himself lying in bed.
Kahan joked, "everyone there just sleeping side by side refreshed and ready to go after my two hours are up."
The message to critics came before a special show the Northern Attitude singer presented in his hometown, Boston, where he now lives.
In the following Stories, Kahan teased “new music” and a “special guest” for the Boston show.
During the concert, he revealed that his fourth album is almost complete already, which follows his album, Stick Season, which was released in 2022.
After the New Perspective singer’s Thursday concert, he will perform three shows in Mexico, starting on January 8, 2026.
