Cardi B, Offset drama takes intense turn after rapper's allegations
Cardi B concerns fans with pleading statement against Offset’s claims
Cardi B’s estranged husband, Offset, made strong accusations against the rapper after she announced the birth of her baby boy, with Stefon Diggs.
The 33-year-old Migos rapper took to Instagram soon after the Up hitmaker’s announcement post, and penned down a two-word statement on Stories, “My kid lol,” which he soon deleted.
The WAP songstress responded to the allegation via X and claimed that her estranged husband poses a threat to her safety.
“Y’all be thinking it’s so funny and it’s not.. it’s been over a year and I’m still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life [is] in danger.. it’s all fun and games until it’s too late,” Cardi wrote in a since-deleted tweet.
The I Like It singer continued, “I’m really tired of getting harassed and when I get harassed privately and I ignore [it], that’s when I start getting harassed publicly. I have every single receipt. If you wanna keep sending f–king blogs to harass me — like, I can’t take it anymore.”
The heated social media exchange concerned the mom of four’s fans, who slammed Offset and raised their voices against his threatening behaviour towards her.
The separated couple, who share three kids, Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1, are embroiled in a legal battle over their divorce, after seven years of marriage.
