K-Pop star collapsed while performing live on stage at Waterbomb 2025 Music Festival in Macau, China
K-Pop’s popular singer HyunA collapsed on stage during her performance at the Waterbomb 2025 Music Festival in Macau, China on November 9, 2025.
TikTok videos shows that the South Korean singer and rapper was performing live at her hit song ‘Bubble Pop’ and while dancing on stage, she suddenly collapsed and fell down on stage.
Dancers immediately rushed to her side along with other performers and she was carried offstage by security after her dancers rushed to her side.
The 33-year-old Hyuna had apparently lost 22 lbs within a few weeks after severe online bullying over her weight.
The pop star Kim Hyun-ah later addressed her collapse through an Instagram post, including a black image with a caption that translates as, “I’m sorry for not being able to perform as professionally as I wanted to. Honestly, I don’t remember anything.”
“Everyone came all the way to Macao to see the performance and of course my fans too and I’m so sorry; I’ll improve my stamina and continue giving my best.” HyunA added.
She also shared a post showing her standing on a weight-loss machine.
According to the Korea Times, the singer had a history of falls and collapsing due to a Vasovagal syncope, where your heart rate and blood pressure quickly drops.
The Mayo Clinic explains that “Vasovagal syncope leads to reduced blood flow to your brain, causing you to briefly lose consciousness.”
But sometimes the condition may differ for some patients, as HyunA reportedly said that she is prone to collapsing since she reduced her weight to 45 kgs.
The shocking stage collapse has left her fans worried for her health.
