Morgan Freeman breaks silence on retirement plans
Hollywood icon Morgan Freeman reveals who inspired him to keep it going at 88
Morgan Freeman has recently broken his silence on retirement plans from Hollywood.
The Bruce Almighty actor revealed he’s not retiring anytime soon from acting just like his fellow actor Clint Eastwood, who is 95.
“There is a saying about old age — 'Keep moving' — and what Clint says: 'Don't let the old man in,” stated the 88-year-old in a new interview with AARP.
Morgan shared that it’s important to follow a healthy lifestyle and the only way to do that is “to keep getting up in the morning, keep working out in the gym, keep taking your vitamins, keep taking your prescribed meds”.
“Keep moving. That is the secret to it all,” admitted The Shawshank Redemption actor.
Morgan opened up that he still continues to take on new projects in his late 80s like he will be seen in the new movie, Now You See Me: Now You Don't, which premieres on November 14.
In a separate interview with The Guardian, the Seven actor had mentioned that the “idea of retirement would float” past him, but when his agent talks about a job, or somebody has made an offer, the whole point is how much he’s going to get paid.
“The appetite is still there. I will concede that it's dimmed a little. But not enough to make a serious difference,” added Morgan
