Adam Sandler reveals worst part of 'Jay Kelly' press tour
'Jay Kelly,' starring George Clooney, is set to hit theaters on November 14
Adam Sandler revealed what he hated the most during his new movie, Jay Kelly, promotions.
The whole press tour became a nightmare for the 59-year-old American actor and comedian just because of one thing: suits.
For the publicity run, Sandler; known for sporting a relaxed look, consisting of a hoodie, button-up shirt, baggy shorts, socks and sneakers; had to trade in his signature comfy look for sleek suits.
"It’s been horrendous," the Happy Gilmore star expressed frustration. "I don’t like the feeling."
He continued, "I think I only have three different suits, and one of them I don’t like."
"I can’t stand the pants," the Grown Ups alum added, stressing that he hates every part of a suit. "I can’t stand the jackets, the stupid shirts. Hate them all."
Even when the Hollywood Walk of Famer was complimented on his well-ordered look, he retorted, "No ... Thank you."
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight alongside his co-star Laura Dern, the three-time Grammy Award nominee revealed he wore more suits than usual throughout this press tour.
Interestinlgy, the style icon, stays so true to his baggy clothes that he even attended the 2025 Oscars in his usual casual attire instead of a classic, polished suit.
The award ceremony involved a comedic bit where he was seated, wearing a neon blue hoodie, basketball shorts, and sneakers, which host Conan O'Brien calling him out from the stage.
Sandler responded in character, defending his look by saying he likes how he looks because he's a good person and doesn't care about what he wears, before playfully interacting with Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet and leaving the ceremony.
