Pete Davidson is just a call away from studio 8H.
The 31-year-old actor and comedian revealed there’s one person who could lure him back to Saturday Night Live, teasing a potential comeback.
The Dog Man vocal star made it clear that if SNL creator and longtime executive producer Lorne Michaels asked him to return, he wouldn’t hesitate to jump on the chance. "I'd do anything for Lorne," he said.
"I had a great time hosting last time, and anytime you get that call, it's an honour and a privilege," the Bupkis actor continues. "It's always relevant, it's a hot show."
Despite the lukewarm reception of the latest season in the wake of major shake-ups at the comedy sketch series after several high-profile exits, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine guest star remarked, "People look forward to it, and the cast is great."
"I owe that guy my life. He jump-started everything. So I'd do anything for Lorne, and he knows that," he told People, revealing what it would take to return to Saturday Night Live.
Davidson joined SNL for season 40, which ran between 2014 and 2015. The then 20-year-old was one of the youngest cast members at that time.
He starred in the NBC special for eight seasons before bidding farewell during season 47 in 2022.
However, Davidson did not sever ties with the studio for forever as he returned a year later to host an October 2023 episode.
