Meghan Markle plays with fire despite Archie, Lilibet uncertain royal future
The Duchess of Sussex's 'dangerous' step could shatter Prince Harry dream
Meghan Markle's 'dangerous' step could shatter her husband Prince Harry's dream of a family reunion and put the future of Archie and Lilibet at stake.
The Duchess of Sussex sparked reactions after it was announced that she is making an acting comeback with an upcoming movie, Close Personal Friends.
However, her latest move came amid Prince William's mega annual Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony in Brazil, which portrayed Meghan in a negative light.
Speaking of the Duchess of Sussex's step, royal expert Renae Smith said, "I’ve actually always defended her before. I’ve never believed she’s sitting at home with the royal diary open, plotting counter-announcements."
In conversation with Express, she added, "But it’s happening so often now that it’s hard to keep calling it a coincidence."
Renae said that Meghan's move appears "calculated and dangerous," which could definitely reignite the feud with the royal family, threatening the future relations between the royals and the Sussexes.
The expert stated, "If it is intentional, it’s a bad play. When your public narrative starts to look like it’s competing with someone else’s, you lose control of your own brand."
“Even if it’s not deliberate, perception becomes reality, and right now, that perception is that Meghan’s always trying to upstage the royals," Renae shared.
