Victoria Beckham feels upset after Brooklyn skips David’s knighthood event
David Beckham receives knighthood honour in front of wife and all of his children except Brooklyn
Victoria Beckham has recently expressed her despair after Brooklyn didn’t attend David Beckham’s knighthood ceremony.
A source revealed to Radar Online that celebrity chef’s absence has sparked tensions within the family amid ongoing feud.
“Victoria's heart is broken over Brooklyn's snub. She's tried everything to mend the relationship, but this feels like the final blow,” explained an insider.
For those unversed, David was honoured with knighthood at Windsor Castle on November for his contributions to sport and charity.
All of his children and wife were present at the event except his oldest son.
“Watching David receive such an honour without Brooklyn there – it was devastating for them both,” remarked a source close to the Beckhams.
The insider pointed out that former footballer “was holding it together publicly, but behind closed doors, it hit him hard”.
“He's always believed family comes first, and seeing his eldest so distant on such a monumental day was painful,” continued a source.
A confidante added, “David kept hoping to hear from Brooklyn, but the call never came. Not even a quiet message to say congratulations.”
“That's what cut the deepest. It's never been about the spotlight – it's about a father wanting respect from his son,” concluded an insider.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz posted a video of her husband strolling through New York City in a social media post on the same days when David received the honour.
She captioned it, “The vibe he brings to the function.”
Another source mentioned, “Brooklyn and Nicola look content living in their own bubble, but it's created a real void within the family. People close to them feel this might be a point of no return.”
