Jennifer Garner reveals real reason behind her farming brand origin
American actress reflects on her personal connection with her brand in a new social media post
Jennifer Garner has recently revealed what made her start her farming brand on social media.
The 13 Going On 30 actress turns to Instagram and shares a video, detailing the passion for her food brand, Once Upon A Farm, came from challenges of motherhood.
“Once Upon a Farm was a total no-brainer as a working mom. I remember coming home from work. I was shooting The Kingdom. I had my first baby,” recalls the Alias actress, who also shows photos of daughter Violet when she was quite young.
Jennifer points out, “I remember being covered in fake blood and dirt and just standing at the blender crying.”
“Making baby food was confusing and messy. I didn't know if my baby was even getting the right nutrition,” states the 53-year-old.
In the clip, Jennifer explains she wanted to help fellow mothers with their babies’ schedules as well as healthy food choice.
“Once Upon a Farm would have been a no-brainer, game-changer, day saver. It was so clear that Cassandra [Curtis] created this company with the goal of nourishing babies and kids with organic, real food. I wanted to be part of what she was building,” mentions the Elektra actress.
In the caption, Jennifer discloses she has been working as a co-founder for eight years.
“For what it’s worth, this is my why,” she adds.
Meanwhile, fans praise Jennifer’s efforts as one writes, “You have made so many families lives better with your 'why.' Thank you for making such an important aspect of parenting easier.”
Another remarks, “Love this story and this brand!”
“This reaches beyond her legacy as an award-winning actress. Hers will be a legacy of giving back and contributions toward making life better, especially for children,” says some one else.
