Prince Harry triggered a new debate with his latest warning to parents, who share photos and videos of their kids on social media.
The Duke of Sussex's message seems to be a dig at his own wife Meghan Markle who had posted first clear snaps of their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's faces just days before Harry's interview with comedian Hasan Minhaj.
The 40-year-old fired off a frightening warning to parents against posting photos of their children online.
Meghan and Harry are said to be at loggerheads as Meghan allegedly promote her projects and cooking show by sharing glimpses of her kids, while Harry has been an outspoken critic of social media and its effects on young people.
Harry took a different approach to stop the Duchess from using their children as brand promoters or ambassadors after failing to convince her privately.
His surprising comments came just as Meghan posted and then deleted a video showing son Archie and daughter Lilibet's faces.
King Charles III's youngest son doesn't have social media and has never shared online photos of his children.
The host of the Hasan Minhaj Doesn't Know podcast on Wednesday asked the Duke, 'Should parents post photos of their children online?'
Harry didn't hesitate to express his concerns, stating that while parents can do whatever they want, there are several reasons why sharing images of children online can be perilous.
He even went on to reveal the consequence of their negligence regarding the online practices, warning: 'The reality is, from what I've learned, what I've seen, what I've heard, and experienced, especially through the Parents Network, is you should be really, really worried, concerned, and cautious about putting photographs of your kids online, especially now.'
He had a particular reason, adding, "With this surge of unregulated AI, you just don't know where it's going to go and how it’s going to be used."
It is worth mentioning here that Lilibet and Archie were seen in several frames of Meghan's video.
Harry's warning came on the heels of the former 'Suits' star posting a video of him carving a pumpkin, with their children seen playing in the background.
While Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, only raced across for a split second in the sped-up clip, their faces were revealed for the first time in years. It broke a family promise not to reveal the youngsters' faces.
