Diane Keaton, who died on October 11, called Freeman her 'favourite onscreen kiss of all time'

Morgan Freeman had the sweetest reaction to learning he was Diane Keaton’s “favorite onscreen kiss of all time.”

While promoting his upcoming film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, October 30, the Hollywood legend, 88, was visibly surprised when host Jimmy Kimmel shared the late actress’s comment about their 2014 film 5 Flights Up, in which they played husband and wife.

Kimmel revealed that Keaton had once gushed, “His lips were so luscious. You just push your lips up against them and you squeeze in. It felt gooey and good. I like that.”

The Dark Knight alum played it cool, and even gave a quick masterclass in movie kissing.

“Well, there are two ways to kiss,” he explained. “Pucker or don’t. Understand, if you pucker then you’ve got kind of tight things going on, but if you don’t then your lips are naturally soft.”

When asked if other stars had complimented his technique, Freeman chuckled, “I haven’t kissed that many.”

The lighthearted exchange comes nearly three weeks after Keaton’s passing at age 79.

During their time promoting 5 Flights Up, the Oscar winner famously flirted with Freeman on the red carpet, teasing, “Why don’t you just admit that you’d spend 40 years with me in your real life?” to which he replied warmly, “I would! In a heartbeat.”

What happened to Morgan Freeman’s hand?

In the Jimmy Kimmel interview, Freeman’s left hand can be seen covered in a glove. The actor wears the glove after a 2008 car accident left him with a broken arm and elbow, which led to severe nerve damage and the development of fibromyalgia.

The glove is actually a compression glove that helps aid circulation and provides minor relief.
