The bizarre video shows the pop-influencer laughing as a few dancers approach the smashed cake and bend down to scoop some bites.

Fans reacted and described the behaviour as ‘selfish’ and ‘wasteful’, with one user commenting, “Is this a skit? Who ended up having to clean that off the floor?”

Another upset user, who claimed her mother baked the cake, re-posted the video and criticised Katy for her behaviour.

“My mom was the one that baked this cake, she was so excited about the opportunity to make a cake for Katy Perry and spent so long on it, I’m genuinely confused and upset as to why she would do this,” the X user shared, prompting furious fans to weigh in.
