Daniel Radcliffe to cast new spell on Broadway with iconic one-man show

The Harry Potter star is returning to Broadway with a fresh performance in Every Brilliant Thing.

He is set to star in the premiere of the acclaimed solo play by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe,.

Previews begin February 21, 2026, at the Hudson Theatre, with opening night scheduled for March 12. The strictly limited engagement runs through May 24.

The Jeremy Herrin and Macmillan-directed play follows a man sharing through a list of “every brilliant thing” that makes life worth living. He looks back fondly at the many small joys that kept him going.

Radcliffe is heading back to the stage for the one-person show, which has been performed in more than 80 countries, after two years.

The Tony Awatd winner was last on Broadway in the acclaimed 2023 revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along.

The production, which also starred Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, earned Radcliffe his first Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

Notably, Every Brilliant Thing will be the 36-year-old heartthrob’s sixth Broadway credit.

The actor made his debut in 2008’s Equus opposite the late Richard Griffiths, followed by starring turns in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (2011), The Cripple of Inishmaan (2014) and The Lifespan of a Fact and Privacy (2018).

In London’s West End, Radcliffe has appeared in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and Endgame opposite Alan Cumming.
