Taylor Swift adopts new strategy after security threats

Taylor Swift requires tighter security as she continues to grow in stardom, and after frequent attempts to threaten her safety, she has scaled back her public appearances and drawn her walls higher.

The 35-year-old pop superstar cannot compromise on certain public outings, though, like her fiancé Travis Kelce’s NFL games.

Although The Fate of Ophelia hitmaker is not as regular at the stands as she was the last two seasons, she still attends most of the games but manages to keep her privacy.

Talking about the 14-time-Grammy winner’s decision to keep her NFL appearances lowkey, an insider told Daily Mail, Swift “has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues,” referring to one of her infamous stalkers who has been off the grid for a few months.

The source added that the Anti-Hero songstress “doesn’t want her whereabouts known every minute of the day” as “she wants to be safe, and she wants her family and friends to be safe.”

Another reason for her skipping the first few games was also because Kelce, 36, was not “having the best season the first few weeks.”

Given the circumstances, the Eras Tour performer eventually made “a little more natural progression” toward being “less out there and attracting attention.”

Despite the popular claims, however, Swift and her team have not “asked the NFL and the various networks to stop showing her on TV during any of the Chiefs games.”

Even though the Lover singer is shown less frequently on camera at the stadium, she was caught on camera in the latest game. “There is always a camera in her direction, it’s just not as big a thing this year as in years past,” the source told the outlet.

“We will continue to see her from time to time as she knows that everyone knows she is there anyway,” they added.

This is the global superstar’s third NFL season after she attended the first Kansas City Chiefs game back in 2023, when she began dating the tight end.
