Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry join forces for high-stakes heist thriller: Watch

Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry are teaming up for Mark Ruffalo’s new thriller, Crime 101.

Released Thursday by Amazon MGM Studios, the film follows master thief Davis (Hemsworth) as he teams up with sharp insurance broker Sharon (Berry) for one last, high-stakes heist.

Meanwhile, Detective Lou Lubesnick (Ruffalo) is determined to stop the crime spree before it reaches its biggest score yet.

Directed by Bart Layton, the star-studded film also features Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte.

The trailer opens with Davis and Sharon chatting while waiting for their cars at a valet. After she teasingly says she wants to be in his “line of work,” the footage cuts to Davis donning a mask and wielding a gun during a getaway.

Later, over dinner, Sharon tells him he looks like “a person who has secrets,” adding, “You got the car, the clothes. But you can’t seem to look me in the eye.”

The story intensifies as Lou briefs his team, saying, “We’re looking at robberies of jewels, money or high-value items in the last four years. Now, remove every robbery where there was DNA left at the scene. I think all of these are the same guy, and he hits every time along the 101 freeway.”

As Davis convinces Sharon to join his plan, she negotiates her share — $3 million out of the $11 million he intends to steal. The trailer teases growing tension as Lou gets into a car chauffeured by Davis, neither fully aware of the other’s identity.

Hemsworth described Crime 101 at CinemaCon as a “uniquely mesmerising film” that keeps audiences “in suspense until the last possible second.”

The movie hits theaters on February 13.
