Bon Jovi announces 2026 'Forever Tour' after Jon's vocal cord recovery
The 'Forever Tour' will kick off at the Madison Square Garden in July next year
Bon Jovi is officially making their long-awaited comeback following their frontman’s vocal cord surgery in 2022
On Wednesday, October 22, the legendary rock band announced its Forever Tour, set to kick off in July 2026. The tour will begin with four nights at Madison Square Garden in New York before heading to the U.K.
“There is a lot of joy in this announcement – joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together,” said Jon, 63, in a statement “I am lucky enough to be able to hold a light out to the audience each night and stand in their reflection for a tremendous collective experience – I get to stand in the WE of our concerts.”
The band revealed FOREVER (Legendary Edition) — a reimagined version of their latest album featuring collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Robbie Williams, and Avril Lavigne — back in August.
Jon, who underwent extensive surgery and rehabilitation to repair his vocal cords, said he’s “deeply grateful” for the patience of fans. “I’m ready and excited!” he declared.
In a video released with the announcement, the frontman can be seen performing the band’s new single Red, White & New Jersey, proving he’s back and stronger than ever.
Jon previously told People magazine that recovery has been “a daily process.”
“I'm capable of singing. What I'm not necessarily capable of is two and a half hours a night, four nights a week,“ he said.
But with this comeback, it seems Bon Jovi is officially ready to live on more than a prayer.
