Princess Kate, Meghan Markle make powerful choice for key purpose

Kate Middleton has undergone a major transformation ever since she was bestowed the Princess of Wales title, meanwhile, Meghan has been going through some changes of her own since her departure from the royal family.

There had always been a rivalry between the wives of Prince William and Prince Harry but it appears the war of power suits and sartorial aesthetics have once again been reignited to serve a purpose close to them.

Both women have been rewriting their fashion rule book, with Kate embracing heritage with modernity and Meghan painting heritage in Hollywood polish.

The Princess of Wales have remained focused on her destined role as the future Queen, exuding authority. As for the Duchess of Sussex, as she aims to establish herself as a business woman, is leaning more into glam with minimalist luxury, according to Celebrity stylist Ciara Russell.

The stylist pointed out to Express UK that Kate’s palette feels “distinctly British” with some “countryside elegance”, choosing more greys, greens and navies. 

Meanwhile, Meghan’s style is “are more Californian and minimalist”.

A common element in their fashion choices is that they both are dressing “true to their personalities” to serve their own different purposes.

Meghan’s latest appearance at Paris Fashion Week has given rise to speculations that she may foray into fashion, hence her style uses simplicity as a power move – focusing more on silhouettes and a more semi-formal feel.

As for Kate, she is representing British fashion to add a patriotic touch and it “less about being styled and more about substance”.
