Billie Eilish surprises brave fan who confronted attacker at show
Billie Eilish was pulled toward a barricade by an aggressive fan during her show earlier this month
Billie Eilish quietly showed her appreciation to a fan who stood up to an aggressive concertgoer in her recent show.
Last week, during the first of three October performances at the Kaseya Center in Miami, a concertgoer, allegedly intoxicated, grabbed the Lovely singer’s arm and slammed her into the barricade while she was clapping hands with fans from the other side of the partition.
As captured in a slew of fan-made videos, a young girl wearing a red bandana quickly intervened.
She chased down the man as security pulled him away and fiercely scolded him. The fan was later identified as 18-year-old Aniyah, who quickly became a hero among Eilish’s loyal fanbase.
As a sweet gesture to express gratitude for her courageous act, the nine-time Grammy winner sent the teenager a sweatshirt and other goodies, according to Aniyah’s Instagram Story over the weekend.
On Sunday, October 12, the overnight sensation wrote, “Thank you so much for the gifts, Billie!!!” adding a series of red heart emojis.
In just a few days, Aniyah has gained over half a million followers on TikTok, with fans flooding her account to applaud her quick action.
While Birds of a Feather hitmaker has yet to comment publicly on the incident, the appreciation was clear in her thoughtful gift.
According to ABC News, local police confirmed the aggressive concertgoer was immediately removed from the venue, but no further legal action was taken.
Eilish, 23, has since wrapped up her Miami shows. Her next stop on the Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour, which kicked off in September 2024, is set for Tuesday, October 14, at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.
