Princess Kate is set for a meaningful royal outing just one day after Prince William’s next big moment.
Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Princess of Wales will visit Royal Air Force Coningsby on October 2, marking her first trip to the base since becoming Royal Honorary Air Commodore in 2023.
Catherine’s outing will come right after the Prince of Wales will deliver an important speech in London on October 1. As confirmed by the Palace earlier today, i.e., September 26, the future King will lead the launch of the first global memorial for humanitarian aid workers at Gunnersbury Park, paying tribute to those who risk their lives to support communities in crisis.
While William honours aid workers, Kate’s visit will spotlight the work of RAF Coningsby.
She will be briefed on recent overseas operations, including deployments to Poland in support of NATO, and see why the station was recently awarded the prestigious Stainforth Trophy. The Princess will also tour the Typhoon Future Synthetic Training facility and view a Quick Reaction Alert Typhoon aircraft.
Kate will round out her appearance by meeting families of RAF personnel and the station’s Welfare Team, underlining her new military affiliations and growing role within the Royal Family as she and William swiftly approach their roles as the future King and Queen.
