New Banksy art at the Royal Courts of Justice vanished within hours
A street artist Banksy showed a new artwork on the fronts of Royal Courts of Justice
A new mural supposed to be painted by Banksy street artist has been seen at the Royal Court of Justice which depicts a judge covered up in a wig and gown using a gavel to thrash an unarmed protester.
After hours of its appearance on the walls of Queen’s Building, the officials took swift action to cover up the artwork within hours.
Security guards were seen patrolling in front of the building, hiding the mural from the walls by using large sheets of black plastic and two metal barriers.
The constant surveillance of the site through CCTV cameras is underway.
The artist responsible for the artwork took to Instagram on Monday to show the two photos, exhibiting a judge leaning over a protester who held a placard laden with blood splashes.
Recent Banksy artwork came on the heels of the arrest of 890 people on Sunday during a protest held against the government’s ban on Palestine Action.
The artwork of the street artist whose identity is still covered in mystery, demonstrates the criticism on various political issues and the administration policies.
Last year, Banksy drew attention with his animal-themed collection in London. The mural depicts a gorilla lifting up a shutter on the entrance to London Zoo.
