Orlando Bloom’s ex-wife opens up about blended family with Katy Perry
Orlando Bloom's ex-wife Miranda Kerr reflects on family dynamics with Katy Perry after split in June
Orlando Bloom’s ex wife Miranda Kerr laid bare the family dynamic after the actor’s breakup with former fiancee Katy Perry.
The Victoria’s Secret model set the record straight once and for all when she was recently asked whether the split between the Pirates of the Caribbean star and the Roar singer was amicable.
She confirmed it was, adding that the formerly engaged pair have met each other since their June split.
"I actually just saw them both on the weekend. We were celebrating [their daughter] Daisy's birthday," Kerr, 42, said, disclosing Bloom, 48, and Perry’s latest reunion.
The supermodel shares son Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland, 14, with Bloom who is also a father to Perry’s five-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
"We're one big, happy family," Kerr said on KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O Show on Wednesday, September 3. "Katy is amazing, I love her. And Orlando obviously."
She noted how important it is to keep a split "harmonious" when children are involved. "If you do have animosity, it only hurts yourself."
Over the course of their nine-year relationship, the Titanic actor and the Fireworks singer successfully built a blended family with Kerr and her husband, Evan Spiegel.
Kerr and Spiegel share three sons: seven-year-old Hart, five-year-old Myles, Pierre, 18 months.
