UAE weather alert: Rain, strong winds, low visibility expected
Weather forecast includes moderate winds, dust and partly cloudy skies in the UAE
The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert for the parts of the UAE, warning of strong winds reaching up to 50km/h in eastern and southern regions.
The weather forecast predicts conditions that could lead to the formation of cumuliform clouds and rainfall.
The weather forecasts showed that these conditions are expected to continue until 11 p.m.
After a long period of time, the country saw a refreshing dip in temperature this month with a cool 21.7°Cat Jais Mountain in Ras AI Khaimah which is a rare treat for people in Dubai.
However, strong winds are expected which may cause blowing dust and sand, this can result in lower visibility and have advised residents to follow safety guidelines.
It is expected that weather in the UAE remains hot, cloudy and breezy at the end of this week.
Winds will blow from the southwest to northwest at speeds of 10-25km/h, occasionally blustering up to 40km/h which may kick some dust and sand, particularly in desert areas.
Authorities have advised to remain cautious and comply with safety instructions and better to avoid outdoor activities.
Whilst sea conditions will remain moderate in the Arabian Gulf and dainty in the Oman Sea.
