Halle Bailey, DDG get hit with major blow during parenting dispute
Halle Bailey and DDG’s family matter takes unexpected turn with new guidelines from court
Halle Bailey and DDG’s legal dispute took a new turn as the court issued a fresh set of restrictions around parenting and social media use.
The Color Purple star and DDG, whose full name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., have been legally prohibited from posting any photos or information about their son Halo on social media.
According to court documents from the Los Angeles County Superior Court, both parents must refrain from sharing content related to the child online, and this includes preventing others from doing so on their behalf.
"For reasons discussed on the record, and with no objection from either party, the Court orders both parties to refrain from posting, uploading, or disseminating on the Internet or social media platforms, photographs, images, and/or information regarding the minor child or causing any other person to engage in such posting, uploading, or dissemination," the documents read, per People.
In addition, the court also outlined a new visitation arrangement. According to which DDG, 27, is allowed professionally monitored visits with his 19-month-old son every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
These court orders came during the ongoing legal disputes between the former couple.
In June, the Youtuber sought emergency court intervention to prevent The Little Mermaid actress from taking Halo to Italy and requested a domestic violence restraining order, claiming she posed emotional and psychological risk to the child.
His requests were denied. Notably, earlier in May, Bailey, 25, was granted a temporary restraining order against DDG, accusing him of abuse and protecting both herself and Halo.
