Jessica Mulroney, Meghan Markle's former best friend is reportedly going through a tough time following her separation from husband Ben Mulroney.
According to a report by the Page Six, insiders revealed that the Canadian stylist broke the news of their split to friends during a recent wedding event in Toronto.
'They are split and Jessica seemed sad,' a source shared.
Jessica, once a key figure in Meghan's inner circle, was among the few who kept Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry a secret before it became public. She also styled the Duchess for her engagement announcement.
However, their friendship took a turn in 2020 after Canadian influencer Sasha Exeter accused Jessica of racism. Following the controversy, Meghan and Jessica appeared to distance themselves from another.
Later Jessica admitted she was deeply affected by the fallout, particularly after losing her position as a fashion contributor on Good Morning America.
According to to the same publication, she also struggled to find work in the aftermath of the controversy and the end of her friendship with Meghan.
At the time, a source told The Sun, 'Jessica's team have made it clear that she feels completely ditched by Meghan as she has done nothing to stand up for her publicly.'
The source further revealed that Jessica had lost significant work opportunities from brands that once valued her close connection with Duchess of Sussex.
