Liam Payne gives reality check to 'Building the Band' winners

Liam Payne’s post humous project Building the Band has wrapped up finalizing its winners.

A group called 3Quency, including three girls having powerful vocals, turned out to be the ultimate winners of the reality show.

In an interview, the trio spoke about their experience of being a part of the show. Meanwhile, they also shared the poignant advice they received from late One Direction singer.

When asked if Payne gave them any tips and advice, the girls agreed while sharing the memorable moments with the Teardrops singer.

Brianna Mazzola told SiriusXM, “He specifically pulled us, you know after everything happened and we had finished filming and he pulled us at the after party and spent like a good 30 to 45 minutes just talking to the three of us.”

Mazzola further explained that Liam shared his personal experience of coming out of reality show X-Factor, where he built a boy band.

She discussed, “(He was) giving us all the tips, all the things he’s learned and his experience of coming off a show where he built a band and how, you know, it’s similar to what we’re gonna be going through.”

In a way Payne gave them a reality check about, “What the world is going to say and how to brace yourself for the impact. It was really, really special for us to learn that from him, being that it was a shared experience.”

The 31-year-old singer passed away last year on October 16.
