Princess Anne leaves for secret mission on behalf of King Charles
Buckingham Palace confirms Princess Anne’s mysterious next assignment
Princess Anne is undeterred in support for King Charles and the monarchy as she takes on an important task for the monarch.
The 74-year-old, who had joined King Charles and Queen Camilla for Royal Week in Scotland, is now embarking on another crucial mission as Buckingham Palace confirmed Anne’s next assignment.
The Royal Diary stated that the Princess Royal will be undertaking a brief visit to Belgium but did not disclose any further details about the appearance.
The visit to Belgium comes just weeks after Prince Edward quietly made a solo visit to the country, as the royal family made appearances at the Royal Ascot.
Palace had revealed a week after Edward’s trip that he had met the Gold Award Students of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award.
The Duke of Edinburgh had also shown his support for the fundraising efforts in Hougoumont, on behalf of King Charles, to restore Gardens at the historic Waterloo Battlefield.
Meanwhile, just like Prince Edward and his wife Duchess Sophie have been stepping up in their royal positions, Princess Anne has also been outdoing herself as the ‘hardest working royal’.
King Charles’s sister has exhibited her exceptional devotion to supporting the monarchy especially as her brother continues to battle cancer and receive weekly treatments.
As a confidant to the King – like she had been for their late mother Queen Elizabeth – Anne has undertaken many crucial engagements. It appears that Anne’s secret mission will only be disclosed once she has returned to the UK – similar to how Edward’s mission was unveiled.
Following her return to the UK, Anne is expected to take on back-to-back engagements in Shropshire, England.
