Brad Pitt tempts Keanu Reeves to chase real F1 driving experience

Brad Pitt left Keanu Reeves with a hunger for having a real life Formula 1 car driving experience.

The F1 movie star accepted the offer of getting behind the wheels of McLaren MCL60 at the Circuit of The Americas earlier this year, leaving Reeves, 60, with a desire to do the same in his upcoming F1 inspired documentary.

The John Wick star joined the race with new docuseries as Pitt crossed the checkered flag at the box office with F1: The Movie.

Helming as both producer and host, Reeves' new project on the horizon will be focused on the Cadillac racing team as they prepare to enter Formula 1, the top level of international car racing featuring fast, open-wheel cars.

After following in the Fight Club lead’s footsteps, Reeves told Sky Sports F1 that he might take one more page out of the newly released film: drive a Formula 1 car.

Ahead of qualifying for the British Grand Prix, the real life motorsport enthusiast talked about the possibility of such an experience, saying, "I would like to start on a simulator and just see if I can get it going. And then if that could work, then I'll get in the car."

The Matrix actor further expressed that he is "just super excited" and "honoured" to be a part of telling the story.

It is pertinent to note that the upcoming docuseries isn't Reeves' first role in a documentary associated with F1.

His 2023 release, Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story, received critical praise as he walked the viewers through the events that led to Jenson Button’s 2009 championship win with Brawn GP.
