Shahid Kapoor teams up with Disha Patani for upcoming ‘visual’ treat

Shahid Kapoor is all set to share screen with Disha Patani in his upcoming film.

The 44-year-old actor, who was last seen in Deva opposite Pooja Hegde, has taken the internet by storm following this exciting update.

A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, “Both songs have the moves and the beats that Shahid’s songs are known to have. The appeal of both is completely different, but the wide mass appeal that comes standard with every Shahid song is common to both numbers. Shahid and Disha will be together for a song for the very first time ever. Fans are in for a visual treat. They’re bringing serious style and energy to both tracks.”

On Wednesday, July 2, director Vishal Bhardwaj announced the cameo of Ek Villain Returns actress by sharing a monochrome photo with the 33-year-old star.

He captioned the post, “Excited to have the stunning @dishapatani join us for a dazzling cameo specially written for her, opposite @shahidkapoor @nadiadwalagrandson @wardakhannadiadwala.”

On the professional front, Patani was last seen in 2024 film Yodha, and is set to collaborate with the Kabir Singh actor for the first time.

For the unversed, the upcoming film is slated for release on December 5, 2025.
