Aamir Khan opens up about 'strange' bond with Shah Rukh Khan
Aamir Khan reflects on his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan
Aamir Khan recently took a trip down memory lane as he reflected on his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan over the years.
The 60-year-old actor described their past rivalry as a “childish” phase.
In an exclusive conversation with Lallantop, the Dangal star said, “Actually, there was a period when Shah Rukh and I were talking a lot about each other. Maybe he was unhappy with me.”
Reflecting on the possible reasons behind the Jawan actor’s displeasure, Aamir added, “Don’t know! May be because I don’t talk about others in my interviews.”
Notably, in the 2010s, the PK star appeared on Aap Ki Adalat, where he revealed that he had bought a dog whose previous owners had named it Shah Rukh Khan.
In his recent conversation, Aamir opened up about incident, sharing that he eventually apologised to the King Khan and his children for the remark.
Later in the interview, the 3 Idiots actor said, “Anyway, let’s leave all that behind. Shah Rukh is a good friend of mine. When our careers started, there was natural competition between us. But that faded away 10–15 years ago, at least from my side, and I think from his side as well. It was childish behaviour.”
On the professional front, the Ghajini actor’s new film Sitaare Zameen Par has continued its steady run at the box office since its release on Friday, June 20.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh, 59, is currently gearing up for King, alongside Deepika Padukone and Suhana Khan.
