Prince William celebrates milestone after receiving power from King Charles
Kensington Palace issues statement as Prince William steps out on Princess Diana's birthday
Prince William celebrated a special milestone after he received absolute power from his father, King Charles, to make key decisions for his future reign.
On July 1, the Prince of Wales stepped out at Sheffield to mark two years of his passion project Homewards, which he introduced under the name of The Royal Foundation.
William's program aims to make homelessness "rare, brief and unrepeated."
On the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the future King's team shared photos from his appearance at the event.
A video was also released on Homewards UK's IG page, in which the members of William's mission opened up about the progress made in the last two years.
The statement alongside the video reads, "Last year set the foundations, and the last 12 months have been about scale, delivery and impact."
"Whilst ending homelessness is all about homes, it isn’t the whole story. Along with our partners, we recognise that more is needed and are working on initiatives driven by data and early intervention too, as well as helping to shift the broader narrative around homelessness."
Prince William's spokesperson stated that the Homewards team is experiencing positive changes due to their supporters and partnerships, which provide services throughout the UK.
It is important to note that the Palace issued the latest update on the Prince of Wales amid reports that, with King Charles' blessings, William is preparing to take stern steps to protect the monarchy.
Royal expert Helena Chard told Fox News, "Anyone who poses a threat to the monarchy is banished," hinting at Prince Andrew's final exit. She added, "He [William] is committed and determined to do his best for the future of the monarchy.
