Hera Pheri 3’s producer, Firoz Nadiadwala, has disclosed the reason behind Paresh Rawal’s return to the much-anticipated sequel.
The 60-year-old revealed that his brother Sajid Nadiadwala and filmmaker Ahmed Khan played a pivotal role in resolving internal issues within the team behind the iconic comedy franchise.
In an exclusive conversation, he explained, “With love, respect, and kind guidance of my brother Sajid Nadiadwala, and also Mr. Ahmed Khan, Hera Pheri family is back together. My brother, Sajid put in a lot of personal time and efforts, over several days to resolve the matter. We have a bond of over 50 years. Ahmed too put in a lot of efforts. So it is with the love and guidance of Sajid and Ahmed, that everything is now productive and positive.”
Later in the interview, the Welcome producer spoke about Akshay Kumar’s role in helping reconcile with Rawal.
“We also have Akshay ji’s support,” he added. “We both have shared a very good bond since 1996. He was very kind, loving, and affectionate in the entire process of sorting the issues. Priyan ji, Paresh ji and Suniel ji too were very supportive. We are looking for a good happy movie now.”
With the OG trio back in action, Firoz concluded, “This will be one more entertainer in the family franchise of Hera Pheri. We are all going to work hard. The family is now together.”
This comes shortly after the OMG actor confirmed his return to the upcoming sequel Hera Pheri 3, on Sunday, June 29.
Priyadarshan’s directorial, starring Akshay, 57, Rawal, 70, and Suniel Shetty, is expected to go on floors by the end of 2025.
