Experts compare Emma Grede's journey to Meghan Markle's rise
Royal experts suggest that the Duchess of Sussex lacks sense of 'authenticity'
Meghan Markle's journey from a briefcase girl on Deal or No Deal to a lead role in Suits and eventually becoming a Duchess has been remarkable.
After marrying into the British Royal Family, she transformed her career and public image on a global scale. However, some royal experts now suggest that the Duchess of Sussex is 'social mountaineering' herself, while lacking sense of 'authenticity.'
These comments follow Meghan's recent interview with Emma Grede-the self made entrepreneur and co-founder of Skims alongside Kim Kardashian-who also hosts the Aspire podcast.
During their conversation, the two discussed Meghan and Prince Harry's life, as well as the Duchess's various ventures since stepping away from royal duties.
On The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, commentator Samra Gill criticised the interview's tone, claiming: 'It was like the lack of authenticity in that interview was really palpable.
'Emma Greed, who was the interviewer, she's such a self-made East Londoner who actually really fought for what she has. '
She's really the brains behind a lot of big brands, the Kardashians etc.'
Meghan on the other hand really socially mountaineered her way to the top. 'So it's very difficult to take this authentic side that Emma was giving and this complete lack of authenticity that Meghan was showing in the interview, it was very hard to watch.'
Since royal life, Meghan has launched multiple business projects, including her lifestyle brand As Ever and her upcoming Netflix cooking series With Love, Meghan.
