Princess Eugenie has recently grown in popularity as King Charles’s niece takes on more prominent roles for the monarch.
The mum of two recently shared a rare glimpse into her family home and into a personal passion that she harbours.
On Sunday, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson appeared in a discussion for Scoliosis Awareness Month 2025. The 35-year-old had joined the session from her home office from Ivy Cottage on the Kensington Palace grounds in London.
The royal, who is an art director at the London art gallery Hauser & Wirth, studied a combined honours degree in art history, English literature and politics at the University of Newcastle.
Her interest in art history was on full display as Eugenie spoke to specialist spinal physiotherapist Emily Hale and Riley James, who recently ran the London Marathon following spinal fusion surgery to mark the occasion.
A World History of Art by Hugh Honour and John Fleming was seen in the massive bookshelf indicating that Eugenie takes her full-time job seriously despite talks of a major promotion in the royal family.
Reports revealed that while the King is fond of his niece – given that Eugenie was chosen to mentor pupils at the King’s Foundation – he is leaving the decision to his son, Prince William, to make a decision for the York sisters.
Royal author Ingrid Seward suggested that once Prince William becomes monarch Eugenie and Beatrice would be considered “valuable assets”.
She stressed that Charles trusts William to bring Beatrice and Eugenie “into the fold” in a role similar to the Duke and Duchess of Kent.
Meanwhile, it appears Eugenie is firmly focussed on her job and helping the royals in whatever capacity she is asked to do so.
