Prince William makes key statement after King Charles mourns tragic plane crash
Kensington Palace shares big news about Prince William's newly launched project
Prince William began a meaningful mission in a bid to honour his father King Charles' legacy.
The Prince of Wales, the owner of the Duchy of Cornwall, started a new 20-year landscape vision for Dartmoor to restore nature.
Kensington Palace released a series of photos and a video from William's latest visit to the beautiful landscape, where he met the people who "live, work and care deeply about" Dartmoor.
The future King's project aims to support "sustainable farming and protecting Dartmoor’s peatlands, rivers and wildlife."
In a key statement, William's social media spokesperson said, "The Duchy of Cornwall, the Central Dartmoor Landscape Recovery Project and many local voices are setting out plans for a fresh approach to looking after the land."
The initiative will raise awareness about farming, grazing, nature restoration, and climate challenges.
Prince William teamed up with locals to safeguard Dartmoor's future for wildlife, local communities, and future generations.
According to the Palace, the Prince of Wales said, "To keep Dartmoor special, we must respond to the twin challenges of global warming and the requirement to restore nature, while ensuring the communities on Dartmoor can thrive."
It is important to note that Prince William issued an update on his new project after King Charles penned an emotional message to mourn the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad.
