Aamir Khan to don superhero cape in Lokesh Kanagaraj's next

Aamir Khan is juggling with multiple projects, as the actor is set to star in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming film.

The Dangal actor, who has garnered widespread acclaim for numerous roles, recently opened up about his upcoming superhero film with the Tamil director.

In a recent conversation reported by Pinkvilla, the 60-year-old superstar said, “Lokesh and I are doing a film together. It’s a superhero film, a big-scale action outing. The film will begin in the second half of 2026. We have both signed it. I cannot reveal anything further.”

Meanwhile, both the 3 idiots actor and Lokesh, 39, will wrap up their commitments before beginning work on the new superhero film.

Following the release of Coolie, Lokesh will begin shooting Kaithi 2, while Khan will complete the Dada Saheb Phalke biopic with Rajkumar Hirani after the release of his film, Sitaare Zameen Par.

Notably, the Ghajini star will also make a cameo appearance in Coolie, offering fans an exciting treat ahead of their larger collaboration.

For the unversed, Sitaare Zameen Par is scheduled to release on June 20, while Coolie will hit cinemas on August 14.
