Meghan Markle's As Ever gives shock update hours after her 'pause' comment
The Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle brand surprises customers hours after Meghan hinted an indefinite delay
Surprise! Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand As Ever is restocking.
Just hours after the Duchess of Sussex told listeners she was hitting pause on her lifestyle brand As Ever, the company made a swift U-turn. On her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan, 42, said she wanted to wait until everything was “completely stable” before restocking products.
But now, As Ever is back with a new update.
In an Instagram post on June 3, the brand teased, “To all who’ve been wondering and waiting, thank you! Your favorites are returning, plus a few NEW things we can’t wait to show you. Coming this month...get excited!”
The post, featuring a photo of berry-filled bowls — a nod to the now-famous jam that sold out in minutes — was later re-shared by Meghan.
“June gloom? Not over here!” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Because this month your favorite products are back. Sign up to find out details and timing!”
This comes after Prince Harry’s wife told Beyoncé’s mom Tina Knowles in a bonus podcast episode that she didn’t want to overwhelm customers by rushing the restock.
“I don’t want you to eat that jam once every six months. I want that to be on your shelf all the time.”
Instead, Meghan said she opted to pause. “Just pause. That happened. Let's wait until we are completely stable and we have everything we need.”
She echoed the same sentiments in an interview with Fast Company published last week. She told the publication that she plans to take a “step back,” gather data from the launch, and figure out exactly what As Ever could be.”
