Aamir Khan makes 'exciting' announcement ahead of 'Sitaare Zameen Par' release
Aamir Khan has recently shared exciting news with fans, revealing that his acclaimed film Taare Zameen Par will be available for free on his official YouTube channel.
The Secret Superstar actor, who garnered recognition for his versatile performances in Indian cinema, made the announcement ahead of the release of the much-anticipated sequel, Sitaare Zameen Par.
According to Bollywood Hungama, during the Taare Zameen Par Fan meetup, the 60-year-old star said, “Let’s do one thing. I’ve started a YouTube channel called Aamir Khan Talkies. I’ll ask my team to upload Taare Zameen Par there, free of cost. Let it stay up for a week or two.”
The Dangal actor’s unexpected move has fans even more excited for the sequel.
Sitaare Zameen Par features Aamir alongside Genelia Deskhmukh, Dolly Ahluwalia, Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.
The upcoming film is a sports comedy-drama, produced by the Indian actor himself and written by Divy Nidhi Sharma.
For the unversed, the sequel to the 2007 project is slated to hit theatres on June 20.
