Aamir Khan reflects on 'toxic' past in surprising update
Aamir Khan opens up about his 'red flag' behaviour
Aamir Khan recently took a trip down memory lane and revealed a glimpse of his past “red flag” behaviour.
During an exclusive interaction with Raj Shamani, the Indian actor was asked about his red flags.
In response, Aamir, 60, shared that being a “workaholic” was one of them, often prompting him to become emotional and remain silent for three to four days after being hurt.
Later in the interview, he also recalled an argument with ex-wife Kiran where he exhibited the same withdrawn behaviour.
Speaking to the outlet, the 3 Idiots star said, “I wasn’t responding at all. So hard, and on the 4th night, she was trying to talk to me, and at one point, she started crying. She said I’m not understanding what should I do as you’re not responding.”
Additionally, he reflected on his mindset at the time, saying, “Deep hurt… ego is a very right word for that”.
However, the veteran actor also revealed that he has overcome that behaviour through therapy.
On the professional front, the Dangal alum is currently gearing up for his upcoming films Sitaare Zameen Par and Mahabharata.
He also hinted that Mahabharata might be the final film of his career.
For the unversed, Aamir and Kiran officially confirmed their divorce in 2021 after 16 years of marriage.
