Ajay Devgn is finally putting his foot down on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ongoing feud with Deepika Padukone at a grand event.

The Singham actor, present at the trailer launch of wife Kajol's film Maa, supported a fellow actress's decision to balance work after parenthood, following her exit from Spirit.

The actor explained that it was high time producers understood that working mothers require work-life balance more than other actors present in the industry.

He said, "Nowadays, people have started working 8 to 9 hours, and most understand the importance of that balance.”

This comes hot on the heels of Vanga's criticism of Deepika for backing out of the film, as he alleged that he typically shares the story with actors before signing them on.

The Animal and Kabir Singh director didn’t hold back from sharing his unfiltered thoughts on the Om Shanti Om actress’ ‘dirty PR games.’

Taking to his X, formerly known as Twitter, he alleged, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA between us. But by doing this, you’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are… Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story?”

Indirectly targeting the ‘newly-turned’ mother, Reddy questioned, “Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it.

“Do this... Next time, tell the whole story... because I don't care even a bit.”

For the unversed, Deepika was replaced by Triptii Dimri in the film after she expressed concerns over budget and scheduling issues.
