Alia Bhatt, Sharvari go gaga over unexpected 'War 2' teaser

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari are already excited about the upcoming film War 2 ever since the teaser was released.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress, who garnered recognition for her performance in the 2022 film, expressed excitement for Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming thriller.

Taking to her Instagram story, Alia, 32, shared the newly released teaser of War 2, along with a caption filled with anticipation.

Gushing over the teaser, she penned, “Seated for the (multiple fire emojis) A special pre-birthday for real @ayan_mukerji @yrf @hrithikroshan @jrntr @kiaraaliaadvani.”

Sharvari, 27, also joined in and posted her appreciation on her Instagram story.

She wrote, “M-I-N-D-B-L-O-W-N!!!! @hrithikroshan sir there is no one like you Speechless!! @ayan_mukerji I’m beyond excited to watch your film first day first show! @jrntr sir you make everything look so effortless… @kiaraaliaadvani you are (multiple fire emojis). The Greatest War of YRF Spy Universe is here!!!!@yrf.”

Meanwhile, the two actresses are also gearing up for their first project together, Alpha, alongside Bobby Deol and Hrithik Roshan.

The Shiv Rawail’s directorial is expected to go on floors on December 25, 2025.

Indian filmmaker Karan Johar also praised Mukerji’s directorial on his Instagram handle.

He captioned his post, “And here comes the biggest BLOCKBUSTER of the year!!!!! This clash of the titans is going to be EPIC and storm the BOX OFFICE!!!!! I literally CANNOT WAIT!”

War 2, starring Hrithik, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, is the sequel to the 2019-released War.

For the unversed, the action-thriller is set to release on August 14, 2025.
