'Ra One' director opens up about Shah Rukh Khan's 'middle-class' approach
Shah Rukh Khan's Ra One director opens up about the actor's 'middle-class' approach, sharing his honest thoughts.
During an exclusive interview with Faye D'Souza, Anubhav Sinha revealed why Shah Rukh Khan stands out from other A-list stars, showcasing his down-to-earth, middle-class persona.
He said that despite being one of the wealthiest people in the industry, the superstar's sole desire is to see his family happy.
The IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack maker quipped, “Does the Gucci make you happier or does the fact that your sister is happy make you happier?”
He added that nothing brings the King of Bollywood greater joy than seeing his sister Shahnaz and his children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, smile and live life to the fullest.
Heaping on praises for the King of Bollywood, Sinha further highlighted, “It’s difficult to be the guy who’s that universally popular; let’s not even talk about the money; to be rooted and grounded.”
On professional front, the actor is currently gearing up for his upcoming action-thriller King, which is slated to release in 2026.
The film boasts an impressive, star-studded cast, including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and more.
