'Hera Pheri 3' fate becomes shaky after Paresh Rawal confirms exit
Furious fans say 'the project is doomed'
Hera Pheri fans have been waiting for a third sequel for so many years.
After 2006, the most-loved franchise received a positive update from the makers, who revealed that they have started working on the third entry.
The film lovers were excited to hear that the trio Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty will be returning to reprise their roles as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, Raju and Shyam respectively.
But yesterday, news came out that Rawal has exited that project leaving fans furious.
According to sources, “There were creative differences between the makers and Paresh Rawal. As a result, the actor decided to step down from the film.”
Bollywood Hungama got in touch with the 69-year-old Bollywood veteran for confirmation, who responded saying, “Yes, it’s a fact.”
Fans have flooded the social media with strong reactions as they say that the makers should shelve the project now as there will be 'no Hera Pheri 3 without the Baburao.'
One expressed on Reddit, "This project is doomed. Just playing with my childhood memories."
Another angry fan wrote, "Paresh Rawal QUITS Hera Pheri 3 Just shut your shops and declare this movie as shelved. There is no Hera Pheri without either of the 3 and especially not Baburao Ganpatrao Apte."
Some other comments read, "Pls then stop the production” and "Just cancel it, rename it to something else and release it."
