Pooja Hegde recently shared a sneak peek of her on-set experience with co-star Varun Dhawan ahead of their upcoming project, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
The Deva actress, who recently starred alongside Shahid Kapoor in an action-thriller, is now set to share the screen with the Bhediya actor in David Dhawan’s film.
Taking to her Instagram story, the 34-year-old star posted a video featuring her co-star.
In the video, Pooja teased Varun, saying, “With the President who is more busy than… He’s taken like 500 calls up until now. Most wanted actor in Bollywood. Most wanted actor in Bollywood right now.”
In response, the Dilwale actor waved at the camera and replied, “Pooja is”.
The Indian actress continued, “You have taken, like, 500 calls, Varun.”
The video was accompanied by a caption that read, “President of Bollywood @varundvn’.
Varun, 37, later reposted the story, adding, “I was talking to @mrunalthakur who is only working out.”
The Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai team – including Varun, Pooja, and Mrunal Thakur, is gearing up for a month-long shoot in Scotland.
A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, “It’s a big 30-day schedule, which consolidates the multi-genre elements of a David Dhawan film. Varun and team are excited for this big international leg, which brings in a fresh vibe to the comic caper.”
For the unversed, the upcoming project is expected to hit the big screen on October 2, 2025.
