Deepika Padukone's commitment to work, relationships leave Rohit Shetty in awe

Ace director of Bollywood Rohit Shetty has deep respect and love for diva Deepika Padukone.

The actor and director duo has worked in multiple movies together. Therefore, Shetty has expressed how truly he admires the work ethics of Padukone and her commitment to relationships and friendships.

Recently, the Golmaal director spoke about acquaintances in film industry. According to him, he is someone, who believes friendships and betrayals are part of any profession and not just showbiz.

The 51-year-old shared that he has a bunch of good people who he is friends with namely Ajay Devgn, Deepika, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh.

“There are 2-3 people (I can call up at 2 am). There’s Ajay sir, Ranveer Singh, Deepika. I’m very close to them”, Rohit admitted while speaking on YouTube channel Game Changer.

The Dilwale director further praised the Ram Leela actress revealing that she was four months pregnant during the shoot of Singham Again.

“When only the last schedule of our film (Singham Again) was pending, Deepika was four months pregnant. But she came for the shoot. Relations like these are rarely made.”

Besides the Singham sequel, Rohit and Deepika have collaborated in Chennai Express in 2013. Meanwhile, the 38-year-old also made a cameo appearance in one of the songs of Shetty’s 2022 film, Cirkus.
