Kajol 'unfiltered' slams Jaya Bachchan as 'no nonsense'

Kajol is sharing her unfiltered thoughts on her Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham co-star Jaya Bachchan on her birthday.

The Do Patti actress, who starred alongside Jaya in Karan Johar's blockbuster film K3G, took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 9, to extend heartfelt greetings to the veteran actress.

Posting a heart-warming photo from 2024’s Durga Puja festivities, the actress wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday to the most no nonsense woman I know (winking face with tongue emoji). Wish u a fantastic year ahead (smiling face with hearts emoji) #jayabachchan.”

In the photo, Kajol is seen embracing Jaya, wrapping her arms around her waist on the auspicious occasion.

The two last starred together in the KJo classic, where the 50-year-old played Jaya's daughter-in-law alongside a star-studded cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Rani Mukherjee.

Meanwhile, fans flooded social media platforms with birthday wishes for Jaya.

In response, Amitabh Bachchan expressed immense gratitude to everyone for remembering his wife on the special occasion.
