'Fast X' actor shares if he would want 'Reacher' to convert into film series
Alan Ritchson, who gained a massive recognition with action series Reacher, has shared his stance if there should a movie on the show.
The 42-year-old plays a vital role in the adaptation of Lee Child’s bestselling novels.
Ritchson, in an interview, opened that he feels grateful to be a part of this venture and that he would never want it to expand into a film series as he does not want to mess up the magic of the show.
While talking to Men’s Journal, the Titans star added, "I can't speak to movies. I enjoy the format that we’ve got so much, and it works so well where we do a book a season.”
Alan thinks that ‘eight season seem to be a perfect amount to break out a book.’
He went on to say, "I don't know if I'd fight for films. I like being able to weave in what feels like two, three, or four films around Reacher throughout the year. I'm happy with the way things are."
The Reacher has previously been adapted into two movies featuring Tom Cruise.
Ritchson starrer action drama has been renewed for season 4 that will be released in 2026 on Amazon Prime.
