Abhishek Bachchan takes bold stance on explicit films: 'I'd like to consider that'
Abhishek Bachchan opens up about starring in explicit films
Be Happy actor Abhishek Bachchan is opening up about starring in explicit films, as he reflects on his bond with daughter Aaradhya.
During an exclusive interview with The Quint, the Dhoom actor explained his instinctive approach to script selection, sharing his thought process on choosing films.
Speaking of getting immediately rid of projects with explicit content, he argued, “Maybe something that’s very s*xually explicit. I’m very uncomfortable with that. I don’t like showing all of that on screen. I’m still one of those…even if I’m watching a show alone and something very s*xually explicit comes up, I forward it.”
The I Want To Talk star, who shares his only daughter with wife Aishwarya Rai, further went on to add, “I have always said, since I became a girl dad, I’d love to make films that I can watch with my daughter.
“I’m not saying it for principle, I don’t know how she (Aaradhya) would possibly feel to say ‘what’s he doing?’ I’d like to consider that."
On professional front, Abhishek’s latest film recently premiered on Amazon Prime Video on March 14, 2025.
Alongside the actor, the film features a star-studded cast, including Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johnny Lever, and Harleen Sethi in lead roles.
