Ranbir Kapoor says working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 17 years is 'tiring'
SLB and Ranbir collaborated for 'Saawariya' in 2007
Ranbir Kapoor has yet again united with his Saawariya director to create another masterpiece.
It has been 17 years since the actor and filmmaker Sanja Leela Bhansali has collaborated. The two are reuniting for a film titled, Love and War.
Ranbir will be sharing screen with wife Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal for the upcoming project and feels obliged to be starring in the film along with them.
In a recent meet and greet with a media personnel, the 42-year-old spoke about his forthcoming movie and also shared experience of teaming up with SLB again.
He added, “Love and War is something which is every actor’s dream. To work with brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky and to be directed by the master – Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I worked with him 17 years ago.”
Though, Kapoor said that working with the Heeramandi director is 'tiring', but he also believes it is satisfying.
“To work with him again, I can say this with so much of clarity that I haven’t met a human being who works so hard, who understands characters, emotions, music, Indian culture, Indian value system, as much as Sanjay Leela Bhansali”, added the Barfi actor.
He continued, “Just to be on his set, it is tiring. It is long. The process can be a little daunting but eventually, as an artist, it is so satisfying. He really nurtures art. As actors, it’s truly been amazing so far.”
The romantic drama is slated to hit theatres next year in March.
