Anil Kapoor pays emotional tribute to late Gene Hackman

Gene Hackman, Oscar winning actor, gets an emotional tribute from Bollywood star Anil Kapoor, after former’s sudden death.

Earlier today, Gene was found dead along with wife Betsy and their dog.

His death sent shockwaves around the entertainment industry as they all lost a true gem on February 27.

Taking it to his social media, Kapoor remembered the 95-year-old retired American actor calling him ‘true legend whose legacy will live on’.

The Slumdog Millionaire actor posted a collage of pictures featuring Hackman along with an emotional note.

The caption read: “Cannot believe the world no longer has Gene Hackman in it... His effortless performances in films like ‘The French Connection’, ‘Unforgiven’ and ‘The Firm’ are just a few times the world witnessed his genius.”

“A true legend whose legacy will live on. Rest in peace”, concluded Anil.

The Superman actor and his partner was found dead earlier this morning at their New Mexico house.

As per the police, they have not found any suspect foul play in the case yet. But they are actively investigating the sudden death of the veteran Hollywood star.
