Shah Rukh Khan fans are in for a treat as superstar’s evergreen movie has just received a major update after a over a decade.
According to the reports, Main Hoon Na sequel is in development as director Farah Khan has a perfect idea for the second entry.
Khan, who was never interested in making another installment of his globally acclaimed romantic comedy, has supposedly liked the idea pitched by the 60-year-old filmmaker.
Main Hoon Na 2 is allegedly in works under the banner of SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Sources revealed: "Farah (Khan, director) has cracked an idea for Main Hoon Na 2, and Shah Rukh has loved the route she plans to take for the sequel.”
As per the reports of Pinkvilla, Farah is working with her team of writers and also of Red Chillies creative people to crack the screenplay.
“SRK has asked Farah and his in-house team of writers to honestly work on the screenplay and come up with something that surpasses the impact of the first part”, stated the reports.
The Don actor is expecting to hear the first draft by mid 2025. “The script is presently in the development stage.”
The 2004 iconic film starring Khan, alongwith Zayed Khan, Amrita Rao and Sushmita Sen is termed as the superhits of the time.
